Your Care Team at South Denver Cardiology
Expert care, close collaboration, and a team you can trust.
At South Denver Cardiology, your cardiologist leads your care team and is your primary point of contact. Supporting your cardiologist are experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)—Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs), and Physician Assistants (PAs)—who work closely with your physician to provide coordinated, personalized care.
Our APPs hold master’s or doctoral degrees and have extensive clinical experience. They diagnose and manage heart conditions, order and interpret tests, prescribe treatments, and provide education to keep you informed and involved in your care.
To ensure continuity of care, many of our patients alternate visits between their cardiologist and APPs. This helps you get to know all members of your care team and ensures you’re well supported—even if your cardiologist is rounding at the hospital or away from the office.
We meet regularly as a team to review your progress, adjust your care plan when needed, and keep you at the center of every decision.
