Peter Hendricks

DNP, FNP-C

I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and completed a bachelor’s degree in microbiology at The University of Kansas in 2008. Subsequently, I worked as a research assistant in lung and breast cancer research labs at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus before going back for a degree in nursing at the University of Colorado in 2014. After which, I was a nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital for nine years, the majority of which was in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. I returned to school once again and completed a combined Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Johns Hopkins in 2023. I am excited to be a part of the SDCA team of knowledgeable cardiology physicians and advanced practice providers.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and four-year-old daughter in our lovely Denver neighborhood. Whenever I can, I enjoy international travel, skiing, exploring new cities and finding delicious food wherever we go.
