I am originally from Dickson, TN, and completed my BSN degree at the University of Iowa with honors. My career as an RN began in Iowa, Florida, and Colorado caring for cardiac, pulmonary, neuro and multi-trauma patients. I then obtained my MSN- FNP at Kaplan University. My focus on education and practice began in family medicine and primary care. I quickly realized my joy in my career lies in cardiology, and I began to specialize in structural heart disease in the hospital setting. I now have joined SDCA to further pursue the care of cardiology patients in both the hospital and outpatient clinic settings. I am a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
I love spending time with my husband and two dogs, trail running, traveling, hiking, fishing, and enjoying many outdoor activities.
