Kristi Swim

MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Originally, I am from Tennessee and Mississippi. I attended the University of Mississippi, where I obtained My Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001. I enjoyed caring for cardiology patients since my first nursing position at the University of Virginia in a cardiac ICU. After arriving in Colorado for a travel nursing position, I quickly realized Denver was my new home. I continued my studies at Regis University and earned my Master of Science with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010. After a few years in the specialty of neurology, I returned to my passion for cardiology. My focus became cardiothoracic surgery for the past five years before joining SDCA in June 2018.Ā I am excited to be part of such a talented group of NPs and physicians.Ā I am an active member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

My husband and I love to hike, camp, and travel, but have briefly placed those loves on hold while adjusting to being new parents.
