Say Hello to SDCA's Newest Heart Doctor – Grant Bailey, MD
SDCA is proud to introduce our newest heart doctor and cardiologist Dr. Grant Bailey, MD, and welcome him to the team of world class cardiac physicians!
Dr. Bailey was born in a small farming community in rural Michigan, attending undergraduate at Grand Valley State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received his medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, caring for the under-served urban population in Detroit. Dr. Bailey was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society at Wayne State during his third and fourth years of medical school. He then left Michigan to do his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at Yale in New Haven, CT. He was elected fellow of the year at Yale- New Haven Hospital during his first year of fellowship.

Just prior to starting with South Denver, Dr. Bailey married his wife who is doing a fellowship at the University Hospital in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Grant and his wife are excited to enjoy all that Denver has to offer, as they are avid skiers, bikers, and hikers.
Randy Cupps Graduated from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado, in 1983 with a degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. Randy started his medical career in 1980 as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) working on an ambulance and in an emergency room. He then joined South Denver Cardiology in 1986 when it was South Denver Cardiac Rehabilitation as an Exercise Physiologist conducting a wide variety of Graded Exercise Testing on a diverse patient population. Randy continues to keep his EMT current, and he is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. In 2012 Randy acquired the role of business development, marketing, and physician relations manager at SDCA.
