Kathy Siegel, FNP-C serves as Clinical Research Director at South Denver Cardiology, where she leads a dynamic cardiovascular research program focused on expanding access to innovative therapies and advancing patient care. With well over a decade of research experience, she is deeply committed to integrating high-quality clinical trials into everyday practice.

Kathy began her journey at SDC in 2012 as a Clinical Research Nurse, growing her role over time through a combination of clinical expertise, operational leadership, and a genuine passion for research. Her interest in research started early, working in an animal lab at a young age, and was further shaped during her two years as a Professional Research Assistant in nephrology.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis University. Her clinical background includes experience in telemetry and cardiac stepdown units, as well as several years practicing primary care in Oregon.

A Colorado native at heart, Kathy enjoys traveling, biking, and running, as well as spending time with her family and two children.
