Cardio-Obstetrics
Dr. Josephine Chou Catanzaro joined South Denver Cardiology in February of 2024. Josephine received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, CA and her medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Her residency was completed at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH, her fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH, and her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. After fellowship, joined the faculty at Yale University. There, she not only cared for heart failure patients but also established the Yale Cardio-Obstetrics program for 5 years, which provided pregnancy-related care for pregnant patients with cardiovascular disease. In September 2022, she joined the University of Colorado faculty as the director of Cardio-Obstetrics. She has now joined South Denver Cardiology to bring cardio-obstetrics care and expertise to the south metro area.
Outside of work, Josephine enjoys spending time in the Colorado mountains with her family.
