Jehu Mathew, M.D.

Electrophysiologist

Dr. Mathew grew up in New York City before heading to Rochester, New York as a Rochester Early Medical Scholar. In Rochester, he completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor in Science in Molecular Genetics graduating Summa Cum Laude before earning his medical degree with a distinction in research. Next, Jehu headed to Philadelphia for his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following residency, he completed his general cardiology fellowship at the University of Washington followed by an Outcomes Research Fellowship and Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowships at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Mathew’s research focus and publications include arrhythmia syndromes such as atrial fibrillation, its intersection with kidney disease and heart failure, and Long QT Syndrome. He enjoys providing cardiology care with a focus on arrhythmia disorders including device implantation.

Dr. Mathew is married and has three young children. They enjoy hiking, biking, and exploring Colorado.
