Dr. Gregory Sprung was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He graduated as valedictorian of his high school and then moved to North Carolina to attend Duke University for both college and medical school, receiving a research scholarship. Following this, he moved to Georgia for an internal medicine residency at Emory University. He then moved back to North Carolina for a cardiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina.
Dr. Sprung is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Upon completing his training, he entered into private practice in Orlando, FL. He quickly developed a reputation in the community as a general cardiologist who offers an unparalleled quality of service and truly cares about his patients. After several years in practice serving the Central Florida community, he accepted an exciting opportunity with South Denver Cardiology Associates to start the next chapter of his life within reach of the great outdoors. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, hiking, traveling and cooking (and eating) elaborate meals.
