I was born in Philadelphia but grew up in Lakewood, Colorado. I attended the University of Denver earning both a BS and MS in Biological Sciences. After starting a family, I returned to the University of Colorado to earn my BSN. From there I spent 10 years as a Registered Nurse at St. Anthony’s Hospital on the Cardiac Med Surg floor. I then attended Maryville University for my Advanced Practice degree. I am board certified in Adult Gerontology Acute Care and have a passion for cardiology.
I have been married for 22 years and we have three active boys. As a family, we enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, boating, and riding dirt bikes, essentially anything that allows us to be in Colorado’s beautiful outdoors.
