Cardiologist Out In The Mission Field
We are very proud of all of our physicians here at SDCA as they do amazing things every day. Here is yet another example. Cardiologist Dr. Mark Sheehan, M.D. is one of the founding members of the Christian Medical Ministry to Cambodia/Jeremiah’s Hope which is a nondenominational, international, Christian mission dedicated to providing excellent medical care to the poor and quality medical education to the healthcare community of Cambodia.
Dr. William Choe, M.D. has partnered with Dr. Sheehan for a while now and they frequently travel to Cambodia with a team of specialized medical people who provide world class medical care to the sick and needy.
This year Dr. Sri Sundaram, M.D. will join the team and travel to Cambodia with them. Thanks to great fundraising primarily by Orange Theory Fitness this year they raised over $16,000 to use for surgeries and medical care. This year’s mission team left on February 7th 2014 that included 16 cardiac specialists and 14 neurosurgery specialists.
We thank everyone for their outstanding humanitarian work!
