My journey in nursing began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Platt College, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from American Sentinel College at Post University, where I graduated with honors from both programs. Early in my education, I discovered a profound passion for cardiology—the intricate workings of the heart, the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patients’ lives, and the blend of science, technology, and compassionate care that defines this specialty.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings, caring for patients across a wide spectrum of cardiac conditions. What makes my current role especially meaningful is my return to South Denver Cardiology—a place I first worked in 2007. Coming back as a nurse practitioner specializing in electrophysiology feels like a full-circle moment. In this focused area, I diagnose and manage complex heart rhythm disorders, collaborate closely with our outstanding cardiologists, and provide personalized care to help patients regain confidence and quality of life through advanced treatments and ongoing support.
I am proud to maintain active memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). Most recently, I earned my BLS Instructor certification, reflecting my commitment to excellence, education, and mentoring others in life-saving skills.
When I’m not in the clinic, I cherish time with my family—including our beloved furry members—along with close friends. I love to travel, explore new places, and recharge in Colorado’s beautiful mountains, whether hiking or simply enjoying the fresh air and stunning views that remind me why I’m so grateful to practice here.
I’m honored to be part of the South Denver Cardiology team and look forward to partnering with patients on their heart health journey.
