Cardio-oncology
Dr. Ahmad Manshad joined South Denver Cardiology in 2022 as a general cardiologist and serves as the Director of the Cardio-Oncology Clinic. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT, and Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Manshad earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from New Mexico State University, where he developed wearable technology for the blind and visually impaired. He pursued his medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center.
His clinical interests focus on cardio-oncology, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and the prevention of cardiovascular disease. As the Director of the Cardio-Oncology Clinic at South Denver Cardiology, Dr. Manshad provides specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, ensuring their heart health is prioritized throughout their cancer journey. He has authored numerous publications in cardio-oncology, strain echocardiography, wearable technology, and machine learning applications in healthcare.
Outside of work, Dr. Manshad enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and son.
