Dr. Flint grew up in Littleton, CO. She did her undergraduate studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Medical School at the University of Colorado, Internal Medicine residency at Stanford and General Cardiology & Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at the University of Colorado. After fellowship she joined the faculty at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center and University of Colorado where she had a successful academic career as an Assistant Professor of Medicine for nearly 6 years. While on faculty, she cared for Veterans with heart failure and other cardiac problems, taught medical students, residents and cardiology fellows and conducted her own grant-funded research as well as site-based research. She has over 30 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Flint was then recruited to South Denver Cardiology Associates by senior partner Dr. Dauber to help grow and manage the practice’s sophisticated Heart Failure Program. Dr. Flint is triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology. She leverages her experience and expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centered to the SDCA patients with heart failure and employs her leadership capabilities to continue growing the Heart Failure Program to serve even more patients.

Outside of work Dr. Flint can be found with her husband and two daughters enjoying the Colorado mountains!
