Hello, I am Janet Rausch, RDN, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the Health and Nutrition Department. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I have also lived in Oregon. My professional areas of interest are heart health, diabetes and weight management with an emphasis on chronic disease management and prevention. I have worked in Cardiac Rehab, Diabetes and Weight Management programs in hospital inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings. I am very excited to join the team at South Denver Cardiology to be able to work with the team to help patients improve their health by meeting their heart health goals, to manage chronic illness and achieve a desirable weight. My interests include spending time with my family: my husband, our 4 kids (triplets, plus 1) and our pets. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening, walking, dancing, and spending time with friends.
