Anna Matthews

MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC

I am a Colorado native and am from Conifer, CO. My nursing career began at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) in the Emergency Department where I worked for 5 years. After graduating with my master’s degree in Adult and Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from the University of Northern Colorado, I completed a rigorous fellowship at UCH in hospitalist medicine. I then took a job at Denver Health in Emergency Medicine where I worked for 3 years and then spent time working in cardiac surgery at HCA. These diverse specialties have provided me with excellent experience caring for a variety of cardiac conditions, which has become my passion. My practice and life are defined by caring and a passion for making a difference.

I enjoy traveling the world with my husband and son, working out, volunteering at church, and spending time in the mountains.
