Jamee McCarthy

MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Preventive Clinic and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I am a Colorado native and proud to serve the community that I have grown up in, work, and play in.  My health care career started as a nursing assistant caring for memory impaired adults, where I gained creativity and further understanding of the aging process. I then obtained my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Nursing degree at the University of Northern Colorado. My passion for cardiac health developed over my 9 years of cardiac and progressive care nursing experience. I became an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to continue my mission of connecting with my patients and providing individualized, evidence-based, and specialized medical care to promote cardiac health and lifelong wellness. I am grateful to be working with the talented providers and staff at SDCA.

I enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning, sunshine, hiking, walking my dog, pottery, and common time with my family.
