Susie Kim, MD

General Cardiologist

Dr. Susie Kim was born in St. Louis Missouri and received her training in the Midwest. She received a combined undergraduate and graduate degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City Accelerated program. Her residency was completed at Cleveland Clinic Foundation followed by her cardiology training, Chief Fellow, and interventional fellowship at Rush University in Chicago Illinois. She moved Denver in 2003 at the completion of her training and after her first foray in skiing. She practiced cardiology with Aurora Denver Cardiology at Lone Tree and Aurora Colorado for several years before moving to Durango Colorado to join Mercy Cardiology. Dr. Kim returned to the Denver area and joined South Denver Cardiology in 2022. Susie Kim is trained in general and interventional cardiology and is Board Certified in Cardiology.

Susie is married and shares a home with 2 territorial dogs (warning to visitors). Although she still has lived most of her life in the Midwest, the mountains and tarns have been her place of peace while residing in Colorado. Although she will always have the practicality and hospitality of a Midwesterner, she considers Colorado her home and now resides in Castle Rock, Colorado.
