Kathryn “Kit” Grant, RN BSN is the Diagnostics Supervisor. Kit joined South Denver Cardiology in 2013 after working 11 years in the Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, and the Gastroenterology Units at San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland, California and then at Littleton Adventist and South Denver GI. Kit earned her Associate Degree of Nursing from Chaffey Community College with honors and a Bachelors Degree of Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado with a 4.0.
Kit is a native of Colorado; she grew up about ten miles from the South Denver Cardiology Heart Center. She is the proud mother of two children. Her daughter is a graduate of California State University Fullerton, and her son is a graduate of Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Kit completed the Anticoagulation Therapy Management Program from the University of Southern Indiana and is an active member of the Anticoagulation Forum. She is a former Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, a current Basic Life Support Instructor, and is NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certified. Kit received the Hospital Hero Award in 2010 after saving a hiker while he was experiencing a heart attack.
During her off time, Kit enjoys Pilates, playing with her Shetland Sheepdogs and Ragdoll cats, bike riding, loom beading, hiking, and spending as much time with her family as possible!
