Joan Eldridge, M.D.

General Cardiology

Dr. Eldridge is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1980 where she did her residency, she also did a residency and fellow at University of Colorado Health Science Center. She is the recipient of the Upjohn Award of Excellence in Medicine and Dr. Joan Eldridge is a twenty-six year veteran in the field of cardiology with a focus on nuclear cardiology imaging. Constantly exploring new ways to treat and monitor heart disease, Dr. Eldridge has researched the impact of new treatment methods on improving patient wellness during her career, which led to her receiving the National Research Service award from 1983-1985. Board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Eldridge has published multiple books, papers, and abstracts concerning heart disease and its effects in addition to lecturing on the unique cardiac issues related to women and heart disease. A member of the Colorado Medical Society and the American Medical Association, she has also been appointed to multiple hospitals in the Denver metropolitan area and is currently the Director of Cardiology at Parker Adventist Hospital and the Director of Pharmacy and Therapeutics. Dr Eldridge is a  Fellow of the American College of Cardiology & Nuclear Cardiology Imaging.

Dr. Eldridge is married with 5 children and 2 grandchildren in her spare time she loves to golf, run, bike, horseback and read.
