Delsa Rose

CME/ACE Manager

Delsa Rose joinedĀ South Denver Cardiology Associates in 2004 as the CME Specialist and the Supervisor of the Research Department until 2022, when she transitioned full-time to CME/ACE Manager. Delsa has been responsible for submitting, on behalf of the South Denver Heart Center Foundation, and receiving full approval as an accredited provider by the Colorado Medical Society in 2009, 2011, and most recently in 2016, notably with Commendation.Ā 

Delsa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Her nursing career began in 1991 and focused on caring for cardiac patients in local Denver and Colorado Springs hospitals. After moving to the Denver area, she gained additional experience in orthopedics, education, and research. In 1999, she focused on clinical research and accredited continuing education (CME/ACE).

Delsa was born in the Canal Zone in the Republic of Panama to a military family and considers Colorado the most beautiful state in the union. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and can fluently speak, read, and write both languages. Her past experiences include being the Emergency Response Coordinator for the Pikes Peak Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Delsa is married and loves her role as a mother of 4 and grandmother to 13 grandchildren. She loves reading, canning, and politics. Most of all, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and close friends.
