Clinical RN Supervisor
Amy Wise is the Clinical Nurse Supervisor. In addition to her leadership role, she is the clinical nurse for Dr. Lee MacDonald. Amy joined South Denver Cardiology in June of 2018. Prior to joining the practice, Amy worked for 10 years in the hospital setting on Cardiac Care and Step Down units. She has also held various leadership roles, including being an Assistant Nurse Manager at Littleton Hospital. Amy graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from The Denver School of Nursing in 2009. She furthered her education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Ā 2018, graduating summa cum laude. Amy is also board certified in cardiac vascular nursing.
Amy is a Denver native and grew up only a few miles from the clinic. She is married and has 3 children. Outside of work, Amy spends her weekends watching her children play sports, chauffeuring kids around, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
