Letter to our patients regarding our Information Technology (IT) issue

May 17, 2021

To Our SDCA Patients:

The health and well-being of our patients are a top priority at South Denver Cardiology Associates (SDCA).  For that reason, we want to make you aware that, on Thursday, May 13, our Information Technology (IT) Team detected a disruption in one of the IT network devices responsible for connecting SDCA to the internet. After an initial analysis, and out of an abundance of caution, we closed our network. This made it necessary to cancel appointments for Friday, May 14.

We are pleased to announce that we have resolved the IT network issue and are resuming normal clinic activity on Monday, May 17.  Rescheduling patients who had an appointment canceled is our highest priority.

A few important points we wish to share:

We truly value our patients and the confidence you place in our amazing team of doctors, nurses, and staff.   We look forward to seeing you for your next appointment.

Respectfully, on behalf of the physicians at South Denver Cardiology Associates,

Karyl M VanBenthuysen MD, FACC,                        Brenda Hulbert, MBA, RNBC, AACC, FACMPE

President, South Denver Cardiology                           Chief Executive Officer
